The Demon’s den, or the Devil’s due

Vague volubility, monstrous distortion, unintelligible madness – this is what the proliferation of books testifies to. The unique and total Church of the Book, which tells everything to everyone and invalidates all books devoid of man’s inborn reason, would like, with good reason, to reassemble them so as to include them in the index. The Library is used for filing the books in the inaccessible underworld of a well-kept secret: the Demon’s den. To build a Library of non-biblical books can only be good for giving the Devil his due.
