The Strasbourg National University Library – the second largest in France – has a unique history. In recent years it has undergone a massive modernisation programme that has brought it right up to date. The far-reaching architectural project was based on ten objectives, including improving the full range of services to users and how the collections are organised and developing an ambitious new cultural programme.
