Planning and managing university libraries: towards a new paradigm

The widespread availability of digital technologies in universities has led to a new set of issues for libraries, challenging their organization and purpose. To meet this challenge and make the necessary changes in the way they are run, university libraries need a new paradigm. They need to become hybrid spaces offering a broad range of both print and digital resources. They can thereby act as an intellectual hub, offering students, lecturers, and researchers the resources, services, and help they need.
