LibQUAL+ in France: a tool for evaluating the quality of library services

LibQUAL+ is a standardised questionnaire drawn up and distributed by the Association of Research Libraries, which enables university libraries to compile homogeneous data that can be compared on a year-on-year basis. To develop LibQUAL+ in France, the French Canadian version was tested by the library services at the University of Lyon I. At the same time, a group worked on producing a French version of the questionnaire, taking into account the new 3-5-8 year (BA – MA – PhD) degree structure, while ensuring that comparisons remained possible between the different versions.
