The global history of labour and the economy: strategic markers for research

The International Institute of Social History (IISH) of Amsterdam is one of the world’s leading documentation and research centres on social history and that of the labour movement. In order to further its research, currently based on the global (and no longer European) history of labour and the economy, as well as its project to build a digital collection on the history of labour, the institute is developing new tools and working methods (data hubs for research, index of labour history resources, Trusted Digital Repository, etc.), which it will develop in the course of the coming years.
