Audiovisual resources in University Libraries: organization, content, access
Audiovisual resources have a role to play in teaching and in research (e-learning, open and distance learning, disciplines linked to pictures, etc.). However, they are not yet widespread across inter-departmental reference services. With reference to these resources, documentation and budgetary policies, their enhancement, the means of communication and the access offered (public viewings, on site communication, at home or on line) vary from one establishment to another.
