Authors' rights today: the economic, political and cultural challenges
During an interview with the BBF, the lawyer Emmanuel Pierrat recalls the positions of the different actors in the debates which preceded the promulgation of the law on authors' rights and neighbouring rights in the information society. He also develops certain opinions which he had expressed in his book "The war on copyright". He demonstrates among other things that the distinction between copyright and authors' rights has been overtaken, and pleads for a right to information and culture.
