A journey through Infolit: Alice behind the screen or a few notes on a study tour in the United States

The training of library users has been of keen interest to librarians in the United States much earlier than in France where it still comes up against the concept and its definition; and where there is no real system of evaluation or common standards. The key role played by American professional associations constitutes another difference. On the other hand, the student public and the content of the training present similarities. Whilst there is no question of an American model, there are ideas worth emulating.
