Retrospective evaluations

The impression about training that student conservators take away with them when they leave the ENSSIB is often critical. BBF wanted to find out if this very critical view lasts over time, since professional practice and experience widen the view of the job. A chance to air their views was given to Pierre-Yves Cachard (DSB 1991), Gregory Colcanap (DCB 1994) and Isabelle Nyffenegger (DCB 1996), who not only respond on this point, but put forward some suggestions for the future training of conservators.
