Training and integration activities at the Municipal Library of Grenoble

The municipal libraries of Grenoble have for long had as objectives the battle against different forms of illiteracy, the integration of foreigners, and the use of the library by all as a source of information and culture. Mastery of reading and writing constitutes the first stage of a course of reintegration before going on to employment. Starting from this shared identification, the Harlequin Library and the Tip Top Employment Association pool their resources and skills. For learners who are made welcome in the library, it is a question of better mastery of the written word in order to have greater control of their professional and personal lives.
