An Open School in a Municipal Library: The Experience of Örebro in Sweden
In Sweden, the municipal libraries still have an important role to play in the transmission of knowledge. The example of the municipal library of Örebro, which has created, on its premises, a school open to all, without any constraint, illustrates one of the points on which the 1996 law on libraries particularly stressed, to know the development of their pedagogic missions.
