A Regional Policy for Periodicals: From Elimination to Shared Conservation
Elimination and shared conservation of periodicals are the objects of concerted plans, co-ordinated in eight regions by cooperation offices. These plans respond at one and the same time to scientific objectives (to draw up a documentary map of periodicals conserved in a given region) and technical objectives (to ensure the best preservation of documents). The example of Aquitaine shows the necessity of constructing a precise structural framework in order to ensure the perennity of exchanges.
