The Acquisition Plans of Brest Public Library

Brest Public Library, which comprises eleven sites, has contributed to reinforcing the cohesion of its network by formalizing its acquisitions. This article describes the method and the means used to attain this goal, notably the evaluation of its collections. Today, all sections of the network report acquisition plans which fix their qualitative and quantitative objectives for one year. The concrete use of these acquisition plans is explained, as are announcements on future improvements.
