The school/library cooperation : between resolutions and uncertainties

A recent survey conducted on behalf of the Fédération française de coopération entre bibliothèques in several hundred public libraries and over three thousand schools (from kindergarten to secondary school) revealed that there was a genuine infatuation for cooperation, as well as some achievements, but also emphasized the limits or difficulties of the cooperation : common actions are discontinuous, cooperation tends to disappear from the secondary school, especially in sixth form colleges, cultural content is stressed more than the didactic accompaniment of diversified cultural practices, partners tend to be critical of each other's efficiency - not to mention competence.
