From a book depository to the intervillage library.

Thanks to the services of its Central lending library, the General council of Saône-et-Loire has been able to establish efficient cooperation between the various villages, up to the smallest ones, in order to offer them library services equal to those of any urban library. Starting from the idea that, when brought together, several villages are able to carry out what each of them separately would not, the idea of an intervillage library seems to be the best one. The idéal location of this library should be above all determined considering the geographical evolutions and the political contraints, followed, after strong convincing efforts, by a proposition to the elected members of the various villages involved, by several juridictional solutions : associations, agreements, or trade unions.
