The Change in the information profession : the qualifications in the information industry
Presentation of the assumptions stated for the enquiry held by the Institute for audio-visual and telecommunications in Europe (IDATE) about the new careers of information. The new technology in information production leeds to a restructuring of the jobs on the basis of new qualifications ; this applies to information industry as well as firms where the information sector is a side activity. These new qualifications are necessary in order to provide an interface between systems designers and users.
