Nancy Kranich : biographie

Diplômée en administration publique, en sciences de l’information et des bibliothèques et en anthropologie, Nancy Kranich est chargée de recherche au Free Expression Policy Project. Alors vice-doyen des bibliothèques universitaires de New York, elle a été présidente de l’American Library Association de 2000 à 2001. Éditrice scientifique de Libraries and democracy : the cornerstones of liberty (Chicago : ALA, 2001), elle est l’auteur de The information commons : a public policy report (New York : Free Expression Policy Project, 2004) et d’articles dont « The selling of Cyberspace : Can Librarians Protect Public Access ? » dans Library Journal (15 novembre 1993).
