Library on the move: changes at the François Mitterrand library, 1995–2014
The French National Library has undergone a number of changes in the twenty years since it was first inaugurated, both in the areas open to readers and in those reserved for the library staff. The article looks at the developments, changes, and alterations still in progress to keep the architecture in tune with the changing needs of the collections, readers and staff.
