Experimentation of the cycle of library Director at the Inet

In 2005-2006, the Inet (The National Institute of Territorial Studies) experimented a cycle of professional training for Directors of libraries, aimed at directors recently appointed or prospective directors. This cycle, of which certain modules have been set in place by Enact in Nancy (The National School of Administration for Territorial Management Staff) and by Enssib (The National High School for Information Sciences and Librarianship) concentrated on the definition of roles and contributions of the library in the context of social challenges, economic and cultural of the community; and the management of the setting up of a project in the service of the territory. Its orientation and its approach anticipate the current evolution of professional training.
