The training of librarians has evolved, in the context of a profession confronted by areas of activity with moveable boundaries and a continual growth in its public, both diversified and demanding whose needs have changed. If the frontiers between initial training, ongoing training, specialization and updating of knowledge are increasingly seamless and the training journey increasingly personalized, the need for initial training and ongoing training of quality, as well as the need for their connection is growing stronger.
