A child's desire to learn: a shared responsibility
Over the last five years the Danish National Library Authority has participated in the multidisciplinary programme "På same hammel" which associates a number of institutions (ministries, associations, public and school libraries, etc.) concerned with child development. The main topics of the programme include the child's discovery of language and reading, the place of the library within local politics, culture and the concept of cultural transfer.
