Long live the digital age!

The rapid development of digitisation, particularly in the arena of e-books, scares some librarians. Digitisation is a boon rather than a threat to the skills and jobs of information professionals. The relationship between libraries and digital innovation needs to be rethought to make libraries key resources, where trained professionals provide informed access to the digital world and all the innovations and progress it can offer.
