Training in documentation methodology at the Department of Health and Medicine library at the University of Clermont-Ferrand: the diploma in computing and the internet

In order to prevent the closure of a training course for pharmacy students at the Université d’Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand, the Department of Health and Medicine reworked and re-launched a course for inclusion in the government’s new C2i programme, offering a diploma in computing and the internet. Putting in place a level B2 course in Finding Information enabled the library to explore the issues of teaching content and setting up a pedagogical platform to make materials available. Could the C2i programme be a way of making training in documentation methodology a permanent feature of the students’ courses?
