Religions in the Dewey classification
The organisation of class 200 has hardly changed since the first edition of the Melvil Dewey classification appeared in 1876. Christianity occupies a predominant place in it. A turning point has been reached with the 21st edition and will be pursued, in order to give greater attention to non-Christian religions.
