In academic libraries, at the heart of the information society, changeable situations have become the norm. Nevertheless, it is in this turbulent world that we must manage and construct the organizations to come. In this article, we propose to model the services offered in these libraries, from observations of real and perceived elements on the ground, by the managers of the libraries of the Grandes écoles. We characterize the principle functions of the services and their axes of development. This work, based on elements relative to daily management of an organization, might allow the director, in formalizing knowledge of the organization he directs, to better pilot it into the future.
