The Children's Space in Public Libraries

To encourage the frequentation of libraries and the practice of reading, the first audience to attend to is children. It is necessay therefore to foresee, inside the library building, a particular space which can receive them in the best fashion possible and where they can find their place. Pierre Riboulet, who does not offer a ready-made recipe each project must be the occasion for developing specific research, has considered this question in three cases: that of the construction of the library for children at Clamart, that of the Robert Debré hospital and that of the Francophone multimedia library at Limoges.
