The Quartier latin CD-ROM
Although Cujas, Sainte-Geneviève, and the Sorbonne libraries have three different bibliographic sources (OCLC, BN OPALE, SIBIL), they decided to build a common OPAC. Such an OPAC had to accommodate to different formats, not to be too expensive and offer some sophisticated researchs, going on convivial. The article explains the initial constraints, the process they followed, and justifies their choice.
